My name is Mariana de Oliveira and I was born in São Paulo, Brazil. When I was 15 I moved to Greece, my mother’s native country, where I lived ever since. Coming from a different culture and having the chance to live in two different countries has definitely helped me to explore further my creativity. I have been influenced not only by my parents, who are both Architects, but also by the different cultures I have been raised with.
I have appreciated the artistic world from a very early age, but by the age of 16 I understood that my true passion was towards Communication and Graphic Design. I enjoy working with computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Draw, but I believe my great advantage is the facility I have in learning quickly different techniques which inspire and motivate me.
My portfolio is a reflex of my personality, where I truly express myself through my creations. I mostly enjoy working with any kind of media, especially digital illustrations and watercolours. Lastly I decided to study Graphic Design and my goal is to combine it with communication and advertising, I really appreciate how much an image can affect us in any ways.
